KIMKINS - CHECK THIS OUT

So, I decided to check out some internet diets and ran across the Kimkins Diet and website and also ran across all the controversy. I will have to admit that the idea of losing 30 lbs. in 30 days or less sounds attractive, but I also know that losing that much weight that quick is very dangerous to your health.

So, I decided to ask the following question to "Kimmer", who is really Heidi Diaz. This is what I wrote in my email to her:

I have concerns regarding the pending lawsuit and all the controversy with this diet. If I join today and a few months from now it is court appointed to be shut down, am I going to be able to get my joining fee back??? You have to admit that there is a RISK in that! Please respond as I am willing to join if I am assured the validity and longevity of the program. Thanks!

Anxiously awaiting my new life.....

So imagine my surprise when I recieved the following response from Kimmer:

Hi Christy,
Hmmm, that's a lot to guarantee. I think you might be better off choosing another diet plan like www.weightwatchers.com or www.southbeachdiet.com. Weight loss will be slower and they cost $350 per year, but you may feel more secure.

We wish you the very best in your weight loss goals!

Best regards,
Kimmer

Is this woman serious? Does she honestly think that $79.95 (which is the joining fee) is too much to guarantee? One of the video reports that I watched - I think by KTLA out of LA, California - said that Paypal reported "Kimmer" receiving 1.2 MILLION dollars! TOO MUCH TO GUARANTEE????? Please!

Any of you have any comments?
